Find More Joy and Peace in Your Relationship with

Yourself and Others

About Me

Hi! I'm Kelsey. I am a work in progress—just like you. Society puts many labels on me: woman, daughter, sister, friend, mom to humans and animals, divorced, Enneagram 2, ex-consultant, life coach, middle-aged, White/Caucasian, college-educated...
...but I prefer human. A human who is intentionally growing, changing, and moving towards my most authentic and joyful life.

A number of people and tools have supported me along my journey from recovering people-pleaser to wise self: self-help books, different therapy modalities, journaling, meditation, and life coaching. A key turning point came for me when reading

Martha Beck's The Way of Integrity (a recommendation from a friend); I remember feeling a sense of peace and truth in her words. Upon learning she had a life coach training program, I made the "then-felt-impulsive" decision to sign up, without a future plan or goal in mind. I now know that was my Essential Self sharing its wisdom that this course was the best next step for me.

I am happy to report that I am happier now than I have ever been. Life can still be challenging and difficult, but I am better equipped to navigate it because I know how to access my own inner wisdom and bravely operate from that place. What works for me won't exactly work for you, and that's the beauty of it! Together, we'll help you find that inner voice, reduce the intensity of the limiting beliefs and fears holding you back, and move forward in a way that feels more true to you.

FAQs

What is coaching? How is it different from therapy?

Coaching helps clients access their own inner wisdom through deep listening and powerful questions, within a non-judgmental space. This helps clients gain clarity and move toward a more authentic, peaceful, and joyful life.

Coaching is generally focused on the present and future, while therapy often centers on healing past experiences and addressing mental health concerns. Using a physical analogy, a therapist is like a medical doctor, while a coach is like a personal trainer.

Who do you work with and what challenges do you help people with?

While I’m equipped to assist adults with a variety of challenges, I especially love working with those who want to find more peace and joy in their relationship with themselves and others. This includes people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unhappy, and who are ready to shift patterns such as
negative self-talk or other self-defeating behaviors.

I also work with clients who want to improve their relationships with partners, family members, friends, or coworkers. While we can’t control other people, we can grow in ways that gently and powerfully
change how those relationships feel and function.

What can I expect from a coaching session?

Each session is a safe, supportive space where you can slow down, get curious, and explore what’s really going on within you—without judgment. We’ll start with a clear focus for the session (often connected to a bigger goal we identified in your Discovery Call), and I’ll help you reflect, notice patterns, and uncover what feels true.

You are the expert on your life. My role is to help you access your own inner wisdom, loosen the grip of limiting beliefs or fears, and work through whatever comes up. At the end, you'll have time to
reflect on what you learned and identify any next steps that feel right for you.

How long is a coaching session? How many sessions will I need?

We'll start with a 30-minute Discovery Call, where we’ll explore what you’d like to work on or an area of your life where you’re feeling dissatisfied and would like to see a shift. We’ll also make sure we’re a good fit to work together.

Ongoing coaching sessions are 45 minutes, held via Zoom, and typically scheduled on a bi-weekly basis.

Coaching is a personalized process, so the number of sessions varies. Some clients find that

a few sessions provide the clarity and momentum they’re looking for, while others choose

a longer-term engagement to support deeper, more sustained change.
